Some filenames conflict. All files being sent to the web site must have unique names. Please check the list of files in Design | Additional Files.

Some of the following files must be renamed before an upload can occur. Once the files are renamed, reselect them in the Actinic.

    C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\Actinic v8\Sites\Site1\PreviewHTML\P_index.html
    C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\website\Site1\PreviewHTML\P_index.html

but these folders do not exsist no more it is now under
    C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\Sitefolder\Site1

the other 2 folder have been deleted before i imported my site back to actinic
    deleted folders r.
    My Documents\website\Site1

the names of one of your catalog pages is 'index'. this is the default name for a web document, you'll need to find it in your catalog pages and rename it.

its not a physical file, its a file in your catalog, generated at upload time.

          C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\website\Site1\PreviewHTML\P_index.html

Looks to me like someone has been messing around with folder locations and is now wondering why it has all gone titsup. The above red text looks very wrong and tells me you've probably been playing. I'd uninstall, then reinstall and start again taking all of the standard options through the install. I've never seen an error like that when you use the software as meant. Did you look in additional files as suggested?

Did you think this information was not important enough to mention at the start?

So you create a folder, then have to uninstall and then create a completely different folder, import it and now it doesn't work. I'm missing the logic here, if you wanted a separate folder name the first time, why would you not want the same the second time?

Uninstall and create a folder the same as you did the first time (must have been for some reason surely?) and then try the import. If you want to mirror what you had before, then you must mirror it properly.

Did you do a complete re-install as Lee suggested or did you simply rename the folders?

If you did do a reinstall, which version did you install. I only ask because you're ina V9 forum but your file paths contain Actinic V8.

Leave it here for now. Maybe you can ask one of the Mods/Administrators to move the whole thread at a later date rather than you starting from scratch.

There is still something a miss with your file paths from what I can see. By Default Actinic will put your files here:

                        My Docs/Actinic Vwhatever/Sites/Site1/

                        You have a combination of:

                        C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\Actinic v8\Sites\Site1\PreviewHTML\P_index.html
                        C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\website\Site1\PreviewHTML\P_index.html

Do both of these locations exist?

Try searching the forun for the error you're getting. This problem has been discussed before and it seems the most common cause is people manually creating links to preview pages.
