Blocking Add to Cart

Hi

I've got a range of chemicals that I want to promote on my site for local customers who can collect from my shop but I haven't got the facility to deliver them. Is there a way that I can block the default 'Add to Cart' facility on these products?

Simply Uncheck 'Can be ordered online' or...

You could use a custom variable at product level and use it to test (with a blockif) in the product layout which when set hides the add to cart button and instead places some text such as 'Only available directly from our shop..'.

Make them stupidly expensive to ship and also have to be shipped separately, so that collect from store (set this option up) is the only logical method anyone would select. You need to clearly enforce the message throughout the section and all products within that section too.
