BUG: Permutations On Offline Orders Not Adding Up Correctly

A perfectly functioning product online with permutations, does not work perfectly offline with regards to adding up the prices. The permutations seems to fail to get added to the base price. The poor guy experiencing this is the same guy having him images nuked and snapshots failing. Although, both of those bugs now appear to have been identified and due to be fixed in a future release.

I know of one other person getting the same problem and I never touched that site, so one presumes a bug, anyone else had the same or even noticed?

The MOTO form does seem to have limped up to the starting line I must say, what a palava.

PS - It only happens on some products, not all, no apparent difference between them.

I'll 'fess up to being the 'other person'!

I have one product (that I know of!) which has the same problem. Works 100% online but, if I do an offline order (I don't use the MOTO form for other reasons. I create an offline order via Operations > New Order), it doesn't add the permutation price to the mix.

Just so y'all know it's not JUST a MOTO form problem.

Ah maybe not after all, new order is working this end, it's just the MOTO form experiencing it.

well, definitely doesn't work in either the MOTO form or Operations > New Order here.

Screenshots attached of New Order method. The supplement (which is in the permutations) doesn't add when selected.
          It works 100% online.

Incidentally, I tried it on the MOTO form too (it doesn't work there either) and got a script error
Think someone has mentioned it before and I can't be bothered to investigate it because we don't use the MOTO anyway but thought I'd add that too....for fun, eh?

(oh, btw, those apostrophes in the description. NOT me and now fixed!! )

            Can I just say...this still isn't working in 904
MOTO form now calculates component prices correctly. AC9-2167
If this was supposed to be a fix for the problem in this thread then, I've just checked it (was checking 'fix-list' for something else) and it is still behaving the same way in 9.0.4

Thanks for the information. I do (unfortunately) know that not all MOTO form bugs were fixed in v9.0.4. I've asked quality assurance (QA) to take a look at this thread and check the status.

It's not just the moto form, Chris.
It doesn't work on Operations > New Order either. Just as before. (just so we can't blame it all on the MOTO form)

                    Hello Tracey

There already appears to be a bug for that and it is scheduled for the next maintenance release - I have checked your scenario for my own benefit on a default site and can reproduce it - thanks for the screengrabs. Not sure about the script error though, may be worth asking support to have a look at that in case there is a messed layout somewhere.

                      Will do, one day LOL
We're not using the MOTO form anyway due to current bugs so, tbh, it's not high priority right now.

                      Thanks

Permutations Still not adding after 9.0.4 Update

Seem to be having very simular problems with the New Order form. Most of my products have price permatations created through quantity permutations with price override. This works fine on the Web site and correctly adds up prices for orders. When I press the update button on the New Order form only the last two items are added up to give the total. Add another item and the total includes the last three items on the list press update and the total changes to just the last two items. Makes the off line form usless to me but would be usefall to fix. Can anyone tell me if this is a known problem or is it just me have played around with the database so may have upset something so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would also help.

                          Hi David.

Sorry to hear about the problems, they do sound very similar to Tracey's. I must admit to feeling a bit dense today and can't quite picture what you are doing exactly. Any chance you can produce a snapshot, (I suggest the 'Support Snapshot' under 'Help | Troubleshooting') and FTP it somewhere. If this is ok with you, please email me the details at dlsupport [at] actinic [dot] co [dot] uk

                          Many thanks
