Hi,
We've had several problems when upgrading to new versions of Actinic due to the location of 'My Documents' on the local computer. I know the long winded routes round the problems but am hoping that someone might know a sneaky short cut or way of solving the problem please.
The cause of the issues (I believe) is that there is a small C: drive and large D: drive which is where the user accounts have been located. Hence the path to the actinic 8.5.2 files is: D:\Documents and Settings\David\My Documents\Actinic v8\Sites\Site1\Images. When I upgrade to actinic 9.0.3 I end up with the path to the files being: D:\Documents and Settings\David\My Documents\Actinic v9\Sites\Site1\NOT_CATALOG\Documents and Settings\David\My Documents\Actinic v8\Sites\Site1\Images.
Is there any way round this please? Is there anyway of specifying root file locations? Also the person that set up the site has specified full path names to the images, is it possible to use relative file names? When I try it can't find the images. Short of rebuilding the PC so that I can set up the user accounts on D drive, I think I'm stuck with D:\Documents and Settings......has anyone got any ideas please?
Many Thanks
David
