It didn't come with any 30 day trial or such and no options are greyed like it suggests on the actinic help pages they maybe if it is not a full version.

As for your question, now that would have been a good idea. I've delved a bit and will delve more but think it is something to do with a layout option somewhere, just wondered if anybody with greater experience can identify it quicker than me.

Everything you say suggests that you're only using the trial software, yet you do not seem to want to entertain that idea.

Contact Actinic Support and let them take a look.

Edit: Just seen you last post, but still think you should seek actinic's advice. The fact that the software is telling you you have a trial version speaks volumes IMO

I wished I hadn't mentioned it worked perfectly well for a month as that is inaccurate and a red herring and has quite reasonably led to people believing there was some sort of 30 day trial element to it.

It does in fact still work 2 months later, what I meant to say was I last amended it a month ago (well more like 7 weeks) and the changes I made 2 days ago have been incorporated but I believe I took a wrong turn when publishing and have inadvertently taken the new products section away.

Anyway I'll try actinic support.

when asking for help it is advisable to give as much info as possible, but as you said you have a free version of Actinic. Often this means the LE version ie limited to 25 products and not upgradeable.

I see you only have one product so actinic LE may suit you.

You might want to contact actinic to ask them to confirm any limitations to the software over and above the 25 product limit.

the easiest solution to your Q re losing the new products would be to revert to an older snapshot that works but i see you can't produce one. TBH trying to work with actinic without the ability to snapshot will be a hiding to nothing. You need to sort out the snapshot issue before doing anything else.

fair comment, I can make snapshots and have asked actinic how I can get to use them, but I've also asked them how to fix the original problem
