    Related Products On Product Page

Hi, I have enabled Product Related Marketing, added the related product layout selector to the product layout, added related products in the marketing tab of the page details of the product. But the related procuts don't appear anything I should have done ?

    Thanks.

The layout was already there, you shouldn't need to have added it yourself. If you have enabled the list in the marketing menu and added some products on the product itself, there should be no reason for it not to show. Can you provide screenshots of the telling areas? Perhaps try to select a different layout for it in site options and see what happens.

Weird, you've done all and have all in place i'd expect, the only slightly strange thing i can see is the first product in the list appears indented for some reason, apart from that, i can't see anything wrong. Maybe need to register a support query for that one i'm afraid.

Just check the list layout (orange underlined thingy) make sure nothing silly going on in there.

Well theres one for the knowledge base matey ... removed all the related products, and added some new ones back in. and it works.

Not sure where the indent come from

          Thanks for spotting it Lee...

In fact it seems very dodgy, trying to add any that don't have the strange indent in front of them, but I have managed to add 3 without indents, but still only 1 is showing ... I will submit a support ticket ?

                  related products

Hi guys, I'm having similar problems with Related Products.

My client deals with electrical components, so the product references are part numbers e.g 104PW191, 104PW201 and the short descriptions are identical in a lot of cases, so both of the above parts are a "TFT Backlight Inverter Module".

In my version (Designer 9.0.2 IERA), I can add as many products as I want provided they are different. The client however, running the latest version of Catalog bought 5 days ago, keeps getting an error message "The Related Products List contains the following products more than once: TFT Backlight Inverter Module" even though the parts have different references.

We have tried deleting all rows and starting again, tried it on different products in case it was a problem with a particular product, and I've searched the forum and knowledgebase.

Is this a known Catalog problem, or do you have any other ideas? Or should I face hanging on the phone to support?!

                  Thanks

You may be able to sort this out yourself quite easily in Access.
Backup first then refer to my post here:

and you will see the structure of what the RelatedProducts tabel should be.
