I think its more of the case that actinic is being push and pulled in directions it hasn't thought about (yet). And as more people create hacks and plug-ins for Actinic's closed closed sourced programming, it can't cope with certain 3rd party advancements.

I had issues all over the place and that was before integrating any 3rd party add-ons. IMO it's a game of catch up, only Actinic are 2-3 years too late every time

Which is why Actinic should program an API (Application Programming Interface) - That way they could control how pluggins integrate with their software. Its the standard way of doing things in modern application development.
