    Upload Failure

    Hi all.

I've recently encoutered a problem which has meant I've had to set up operations on an alternative, lower spec machine.

The transfer all went well and now I'm ready to begin uploading again. But I'm now finding that actinic freezes at a random point in the upload or else crashes to desktop.

I'm aware that this machine's ram only clear of the minimal requirements and the software runs slowly as a result. I've had at least one timeout error.

What can I do to clear the problem?

You can change various options in the network settings for the FTP and time outs etc ... worth having a play with those.

I have designed at 10,000+ SPP Actinic v9 site on a Pentium 4 with 512mb RAM ... a slug of a machine and that was fine at uploading.

May be worth rebooting whatever you use to connect to the Internet.

I had similar problems a while back with VirginMedia and a reboot of the cable modem sorted everything out.
