    'Find' doesn't (always) work

The 'find' command on one my client's copy of Actinic Business Client does not work. If you input an order number, nothing happens. When I try the same exercise on my desktop computer running Designer with the same snapshot, it works great. The odd thing is, I was at my client's place today with my laptop which with the same snapshot on designer, the 'find' did not work. Has anyone had any similar issues ? All working on V9.0.3.

I find the 'Find' feature works intermittently. It may well be there is some extraterrestrial reasoning as to why it works at your place but not at the clients. Or it could just be another one of Actinic's half-developed features.

We were advise by support to use a wildcard (*) before our search term. This has worked for us and always manages to find what we need. D

      EDIT:
Think I might have missed the point! My ref. relates to the find within the order details section

I find even if i use the find function for a specific part number the find can't find it and this is also the same on the main site and that the site search also doesn't find the product. It's not the part number format which is XXX-01235 (LetterLetterLetter-NumberNumberNumberNumberNumber) becuase it does find some of the products using this format just not all of them.

In the Find dialog, are you using the order number as a whole or in part in conjunction with product name? If yes, please clear the Product Description field and try again.
Let me know if this helped at all.

we are using identical search strings, wild card plus last 4 characters ie. *1234
with identical order data on both machines.
