Related Items Add To Cart

Hi Everybody

I was wondering if anyone knows how to add the add to cart button to a related item, here is an example of what we want:

Scroll down the page to accessories, there you have the option to add the related item to cart straight away instead of clicking through to the actual product and adding it to cart, I tryed to insert the Add to cart variable straight in however I just got errors and when I used the form tags I also got errors

Any ideas?

I don't think this is easily done however I'm fairly sure that Norman at drillpine.biz has done a patch that allows exactly this.
You'll need to email him through his website at www.drillpine.biz

It might not be listed on his website so you will need to email to enquire

This has been covered before and is fairly straight forward - may even be in the KB or the AUG now.

You can also modify this further as on http://www.partyconnection.co.uk/aca...rty-dates.html which has a pop-up with the buy button against the also bought / like lists.

I coded the Party Connection site myself but I think Norman and Fergus have an off the shelf plug-in for this which may be an easier route.

thanks for the speedy reply, Norman does have something. But it's not quite what we are looking for, his plugin creates a pop up when clicked. We just want to click the add to cart and the unit is added. If we can do this it would be an awesome plugin for the community.

What's your thoughts?

oh..there ya go, see. I was wrong. It is something that can be easily done.
Don't know why I was under the impression it was something "out of the ordinary" but I was sure I'd seen reference to a plug-in for it.
Never looked into it myself so probably confusing it with something else

Thanks for that, the plugin there is excellent actually. We like the layout you used and the ability to choose the sizes etc. We may actually go with that. We were just looking to take it a step further by not having to have the pop up. We will keep you posted.

Problem Solved, I removed the form and just added the product ID, Quantity Box, Price and then the add to cart button now to checkout works perfect
