HTML Comments

I want to put some HTML <!-- comments --> into certain pages on my site.

Have tried using php echo (which is about my php limit!) but Actinic strips them out when compact HTML is selected.

Have also tried Custom Variable Include_filename but the comments still get stripped.

Any suggestions please?

The simple answer is of course to just to uncheck compact html. In fact there are some who advocate doing this anyway for SEO.

Why do you want to have them anyway?
