Fasthosts upload problems

This started happening 2 days ago and I cant figure out why,
I have set the cgi-bin 755, acatalog 777,

The site gets stuck on merging and it says the permissions are not set right, so the site is not working.

Does anyone knows the problem?

Fasthosts - that says it all.
Please search the forum for Fasthosts and you will understand why. Even Fasthosts themselves say they don't support Actinic.

Change hosts now and save yourself endless trouble.

Try a compact of your site then a refresh of your site

The "merge request" failure is typically benign. I used to suffer this regularly in v6 & v7 and never once found any issues with the site or the back end.
