landing page after login

In Actinic 7 the user is returned to the current page after login (I think this is by default). In v8 the default is the catalogue page. How can I change this so that the user returns to the current page after login?

Can anyone confirm this is the case? Do you have to go back to the catalogue page after login in V8?

I do not use customer login's, but the v8 AUG states that "By default, when a customer logs in they are taken to the store home page".
It looks like you're stuck with it, unfortunately.

There's probably an actinic variable for the current page but I don't know what it is.

Thanks for your replies.

Now that you mention it I remember seeing sometime ago the knowledge base articles. Unfortunately they aren't really what I'm trying to do. I want the user to return to the page they were on before log in just as it does in V7.

I guess I'm stuck with this but it's a bit of a step backwards!

Not sure if this will help, but I have just seen a variable called BackPageURL which is described as "The address of the previous page the customers were on". Maybe you could use this somewhere?
