Showing sub sections with top level sections in nav bar

    Hi,
Just started playing with v9, our current sites are both v6.

This might be very simple, but I have tried to find the answer myself and have searched this forum, so apoligies if this has already been asked.

What I'd basically like is for all the subsections to appear on the left navigation bar of the site as well as the top level sections. Our current site http://www.bouncingbean.co.uk shows what I mean.
All those sections on the left of the screen are top sections and sub sections (So Easy Karaoke Hits is a sub-section of Easy Karaoke which is a sub-section of CDG Karaoke)

Is there a way I can get v9 to create this navigation layout for me? I've started with a template, I think it's Prime, and have been trying to customise this.

Thank you very much for any help.
I do have 1 more question but I'll ask that separately.

    thanks again,
    Matt

The standard Top Level Section Lists you have available are listed in site options in the drop down list on the layout tab. If one of those doesn't do as you wish, then it will probably be a case of creating your own.

I will take a look at what you've said and try to work it out.

So are you manually creating your navigation?

No you use actinic functions to create your own menu, it's all still dynamic and reacts to any changes you make in the content tree, it's just not a standard offering. I've not used an actinic menu for 3 years, I either use one I create or one from Norman at drillpine.biz.

In fact perhaps you might find the 'accordion' menu on there of use.

              Drillpine it is then )
It's a shame Actinic can't do what I want, but I'm not particularly techinical to work out a way myself.
              So it's off to Norman's site )

Thanks for both your help and suggestions.

At £35 for ongoing support and patches, it's not even worth thinking about anything else IMO.
