Using Actinic's other pages or your own

    Hi all,
Hoping to get a quick feel for what everyone does.
I've never really used the brochure pages and other pages within Actinic and wondered if people generally used these to create the other pages, or stuck to designing your own pages in Dreamweaver or the like.

When I originally designed our sites in Actinic v6, one of them is www.bouncingbean.co.uk, I basically designed the home page along with others in Dreamweaver and completely separate to Actinic.

Thanks very much for any replies,
    Matt

i think quite a few people are moving to brochure pages - i feel mainly to allow clients the option of updating pages.

But the answer is not cut and dried, it depends realy on how flexible you want your non shop pages to be.

i have one site where there are more non shop pages than shop pages, and to maintain these in actinic would be a real pain so they remain in dreamweaver but I alllow the root index to be a actinic brochure page so best sellers and new products get automatically updated.

If there were less than 10 brochure pages i'd probably do it within actinic.

    So horses for courses really

Thanks Jo, I was going to do it in Dreamweaver, but then thought about some of the benefits that I'd get from doing it within Actinic. So I might give that a go first and see how I get on.

      Thanks for your reply,
      Matt
