Overwritten Orders

Had some probs today with catalog, needed to restore old catalog dating back to 14/05/09 - stupidly i have overwritten orders from 14/5/09 to now - does anyone know if these orders can be retrieved somehow?

when is your latest snapshot? have you got a previous.mdb or backup.mdb?

Think ive been very silly - latest snapshot was 14/05/09 and backup - is this same as snapshot?

You need either a snapshot taken which contains the lost orders, or an mdb containing the lost orders.

Go to site1 folder and look at the dates on actiniccatalog.mdb, previous.mdb or backup.mdb.

if any of these have the correct timestamp use the import orders feature on the file menu to bring orders from one ofthese mdbs to your current actinic.

REMEMBER you can not append orders - all you wil lbe abe to do is overwrite what is in your open version of actinic with the detail from an mdb file.

If you have a snapshot dated today or yesterday you can unpack it to reveal the mdb files too.

Can only find dates up to 19/5/09 so im guessing that's the last back up i made (school boy error im thinking) luckily i have printout of all the orders so could re enter them for the 20/21st and today.

Remember reading somewhere about free back up of mdb does anyone know if this is still available - would of saved me some grief today
