Real time data transfer and API's

Hi,

I am a software developer, who wants to use 'Actinic Enterprise Solution' to develop a e-Commerce solution. The actinic software will be used for managing the back-end or the admin section, but the front end will be developed by me. I had few queries in this regard, they are listed below

1) Will 'Actinic Enterprise Solution' and the website will be sharing the database on a real time basis? i.e. if I update a product information at the admin side will it be reflected on the website immediately or I need to publish the data to the website? Similarly if a customer registers online, will it show instantly in the admin?

2) Does 'Actinic Enterprise Solution' have any API's available?

I need to start the work on this very soon, hence a quick reply on the above could help a lot.

Enterpise tends to be designed for each users requirements, although it has a core but as said you need to contact sales

There are no published API's available for Actinic, but it works from a completely open database in either access or SQL server.

If you contact Actinic they should be able to provide you with a schema.
