V8 - V9 upgrade

Is the upgrade from V8 to V9 fairly straight forward in that I can do it my self ? keen to hear peoples views....have had a few companies contact me recently saying I should upgrade and it will help my SEO rankings....err is this true ?

It is worthwhile upgrading to v9.

You can install v9 on the same pc as v8 without affecting your v8 install and operating store. You can then test an upgrade to v9 by simply importing a v8 snapshot into v9.

Make sure you don't upload v9 accidentally though as it would then overwrite your online site.

There are a great many aspects to SEO than just Actinic - don't expect that upgrading to v9 will mean you don't need to continually work at optimising your section/brochure pages.
