    New features & stability?

I'm still on version 7. I'm trying to find a new features list for 7 to 8, and 8 to 9. Does that exist?

Also, how stable is version 9? What about performance? Just looking at the headers in this forum scares me. I upgraded briefly to 8.0 when it came out, but the performance (uploading after an order was received) just killed us, so I had to back it out.

I'm really wanting an interface for USPS - to retrieve postal rates without me having to maintain my own tables. Is that in there yet?

I'm also really wanting support for gift certificates. I'd like to sell or give a GC, and have the system then recognize it when the customer redeems the GC, and deduct the amount from the order.

Oh, and definitely customer-maintainable customer accounts.

Any of these in version 9?

Download the FREE 30-day trial and see for yourself is the best idea, it can run independently of your main store and you are actually trying it on your own real store then - from the horse's mouth instead of the launderette you could say.

personally i am still on 8.5.3 for stability reasons. I dont consider v9 viable yet. speed of upload has been addressed in 9.0.3 though.

not even on the drawing board afaik

The extra marketing make the change from v7 to v8 or 9 worthwhile in my opinion
