    Short Description Font

I have added some new items into my site and the new items all have a different font size to the ones that were already there. I prefer the new one but can't seem to change the old ones. I have tried in Page Preview to change them all in the selectable fields - the new ones will change but the originals are being stubborn and won't do anything. Could someone help?

Nick, could you give us links to the differing pages?

The only way this is going to happen is is you're using different layouts, or the site hasn't been refreshed properly.

sorry, should have made it clearer. I am redesigning the web site therefore it isn't actually 'live'.

        Ah, okay.

Have you compared the 2 layouts?

the different fonts are actually on the same page. I have put new products on to a page that was already set up. The new products all have a different font on the Short Description (heading) to the older products but the Full Description of the products all have the same font size, etc. It's all very odd.

I appreciate that they're on the same page, but are they using the same Product layout?
TBH without looking at it, it's difficult to understand entirely what the problem is. Could you post a screen shot?

                Have you checked their layouts?

What do the respective products say under:

                Layout | Product Layout

View the page offline in Firefox with the Firebug add-in. You can then Inspect the elements to see where the styling is being inherited.

Can't you perhaps upload it in test mode?

                    both say

Use Parent(= With Standard Image on Right)

Is that what you meant? Sorry, but quite new to this

In Test Mode do I just do an Upload to Web Site? I don't want this overwriting anything already there?

LOL Do you use Fire Fox as a browser? If not, get it downloaded and get the firebug add on.

You can use the inspect tool to see what code is behind the elements on your page.
