    Shared SSL renewal

    Hi,

    About 4 weeks ago I was told by Actinic that I needed to renew my shared SSL service otherwise we wont be able to take payment anymore. I did this and paid the renewal fee which was about £100

    However, I was called by a customer today to advise they were getting the following error below:

    Error: The specified shared SSL user ID is invalid or is not registered with this provider.

    Does this mean it hasn't been renewed ? We havent changed anything in terms of Actinic and thought I should refresh the site which I did a couple on minutes ago to see if that helps...it didnt.

    any ideas or has it just not be re registered or something ?

    Contact Actinic and get them to check on it. There's nothing you yourself can do about it.

      OK thanks, have emailed the guy at Actinic who was chasing for payment and see if he can check it out. Have missed a few sales along the way but fortunately some people called us as well !

        Got a call from Actinic, advised it was now sorted but they were not sure why it was doing it...

        still, its fixed now and orders are now flowing again... Thanks,
