    Chained Menu to choose Sections

    Hi,

On each main section of our site we are wanting to have a "Chained Menu" (Drop Down) to quickly select sub-sections.
I have tried implementing this into the Actinic Layout with no success.
Therefore I have made a separate page with the code, which works fine, link is below:

    http://www.wheels.uk.com/acatalog/tyre-search.html

    I sourced the code from:
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...menu/index.htm

I know this means manually entering into the code each section, but the desired effect is what we are after.

Can anyone tell me if this can work in an Actinic Layout?
Like I said, I have had no success so far.
Or if an alternative is available.
    Regards,

It is certainly possible to produce a php script that accesses the actinic database to get the necessary data to generate the menu automatically. The functions in the PHP script can then be called from a custom layout that can be placed in any page.

A starting point would be the menu system that Gabriel Crowe produced about a year some time ago, to find it do a search for 'navigation' in the forum. This script could be modified to produce the effect you require.
