Codepath Soapbox plugin

I am considering adding the Codepath Soapbox plugin to a site.

Anyone using this I would be interested to hear how you are getting on and would like to see it implemented on some live sites.

Soap Box the reviews system you talking about ? If so we are using it on our Trampolines website.

I've found it to be a great piece of software so far. Haven't really got it going to it's full potential yet.

We've been using it for a while. Very useful. Have had some spam reviews from a rival (dork) but because the reviews are all moderated, these never make it onto the site.

The idea of real reviews on our swimmings goggle site in particular seems ideal.

Product Reviews script - alternative to Codepath Soapbox Product Reviews

£149 seems a bit steep for such a simple bit of software!

For what it provides an Actinic website, with the support and experience of Codepath I believe £149 to be incredible value for money.
"Simple" is in the eye of the beholder I suppose; looks simple, simple to use and simple to deploy does not mean simple to build - quite the opposite in fact is often the case.

Codepath Soapbox Product Review software - alternatives?

I'm sure you are right about the Codepath Soapbox product. However before I try it out I'm wondering if there is any other equally good Product Review software available for Actinic.

For what it provides an Actinic website, with the support and experience of Codepath I believe £149 to be incredible value for money.
"Simple" is in the eye of the beholder I suppose; looks simple, simple to use and simple to deploy does not mean simple to build - quite the opposite in fact is often the case.

Codepath Soapbox plugin trial

I've loaded it on Data-Mind and BeSeenOnABike.co.uk and will give it a trial. Installation was very easy. Looks a great add-on. The moderation and emailing of customers to request reviews is really excellent; something I could never do on my old clunky php OSCmax site BeSeenOnABike.com

We've used the Soapbox plug-in for about 6 months or so and it's a really nice piece of software all the reviews database is kept on line so you never loose them if you uninstall the software and you also get to moderate the reviews to. I think it adds a little bit more information for the customer to gander over. Only thing i would want is that the star rating could be shown at section level so that customers can see the star rating regardless of clicking for the product details. But it's a steal at £149.

Customizing Soapbox CSS and Images

Chris, On the 'BeSeenOnABike' site you might want to chnage the text colour (if possible), as the text 'Not Reviewed' is in black on a black background.

You can do as Darren suggests with some simple CSS. You can also use your own images for the star ratings if you like - if you rework the default images to have black backgrounds, it will look a lot better on the site. Glad all is going well Fraz. The section level ratnigs are on the wish-list and I'll let you know when it makes it into a production version.
