have you uploaded the site since removing them from actinic, have you browsed to the site and hit F5 to get a new version of the page?

      Hi Jen
I don't know about completely removing the best sellers from your site but you can stop them by opening up Actinic clicking on the Marketing tab at the top of the page, clicking on Bestsellers and then making sure the Enable check box does not have a tick in it. Once you've disabled your Bestsellers reload your site to the internet by clicking the Publish To Web tab. If, when you open your internet browser, the bestsellers are still there try clicking on the reload page button in your browser as you are probably getting a stored version of your site rather than a real time one.

Maybe someone else here can help you get rid of your bestsellers completely but hopefully the above will put you on for now.

If you are changing the product text and they are still showing the same then something is amiss as they will reflect changes made at product level through to the best sellers list. Purging the cache in the browser and previewing the page in an external browser should show the changes.

You can permanently remove the Best Sellers by clicking on the design tab, navigate to the outer layout and look for the pink layout selector called something like "Reflective Best Sellers List" ... the actual name will depend on the theme you are using but it will be obvious enough - you can either delete this or you can comment it out by wrapping the pink selector between <!-- and -->

If it still shows check it is not the new arrivals list that is causing the issue.

Do you have URL of site showing the problem, son others I can confirm whether they are seeing the best sellers list and rule out a browser caching issue.

I thought you were referring to the mini best sellers list, but I can now see it is the best sellers page.

To stop that page appearing you would need to select the 'Best Sellers' section in the content tree and tick the 'Hide on website' box on the general tab.
This should stop the best sellers page from being uploaded next time you upload the site, but actinic doesn't delete the page from the server (unless I am mistaken), you will therefore need to ftp to your site and delete the page manually.

The links are probably hard coded into the template by the look of them, remove the html links yourself from the outer layout of the site. If that sounds like double dutch, then contact your designer to do it for you, you might completely trash the site if you do it wrongly.

I would also ask them to remove the W3C validation at the bottom of the page - not only does nobody care about it as a buying customer it also does not populate your URL into the validator and from an SEO point of view is is in a very bad position - swap this out for a link to your site map and it will do you no end of good.
