publish to web greyed out

hi community

i've been developing a store for a while and using 'publish to web' to publish the site locally. this has been working fine.

however today i started actinic and the publish to web option is greyed out?

i'm not running in test mode and everything is the same as before. the only thing i can think of that i've done is to export a site snapshot for the client, during which i would have disabled the network settings (for the snapshot only i believed).

can someone point me in the right direction to re-enable this please

how did you do that?
It's likely incorrect/incomplete network settings that are causing the problem, if that's the case

i seem to remember it was an option during file/snapshot/export site

i found it.

apparently during the export the

design/designer options/site upload is enabled
design/designer options/order download is enabled

got turned off.

i've re-checked them and the publish to web is now re-enabled
