    MS Explorer Payment Issue

We use sagepay as our payment provider for our website. http://www.mashers.co.uk/ and we are currently experiencing big delays when customers are being transferred from our checkout page to sagepays website. Occasionally it loads the page after a couple of minutes but usually it freezes without end.

The problem only occurs when customers use MS Explorer.

I spoke to actinic support today who tested the site and found the same problem when using Explorer v6 and v7.

Actinic also advised me to open a file in the library called "preloadImages" and revert to factory settings and then refresh the website, I have done all of this but the page still freezes.

Sagepay say there are no errors at their end.

    Is anyone able to help?

I believe this one was resolved by support. The “add this” button was causing a problem on the PSP bounce page so we whacked a condition around it to exclude it from the PSP bounce page.

I'm also getting this. Is there a documented fix?

Using the AddThis (or similar) widget on your site Steve?

Nope, pretty standard site. It worked in test mode, hangs when I switch to production. Maybe a glitch, I'll try again in a bit.

Did anyone ever get to the bottom of this issue? I've just switched my site from a v7 site to a new V10 site, and while the site works in SagePay test mode, it hangs on the bounce page in production mode.

No AddThis or anything similar on my site.

            The site is at www.davora.co.uk

            Thanks

Why did you change the .pl extensions to .cgi?
Was it the same for v7?

Fixed! The problem was that I had somehow removed "PreloadImages" from the body tag. 2 hours caused by 15 or so missing letters!!
