    Integrated Checkout

We are looking at our checkout process and would like to be able to make this fully integrated, so that all personal information and payment information is collected via our website and transmitted to Actinic for us to download, as we do now.

Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, what we would need to do to go about this?

Does anyone have any working examples of an Actinic site where this has been achieved?

    Many thanks in advance.

Am I right in thinking you WANT to be able to download a customer's payment details? Presumably so you can process payments manually on a machine?

I think you'll find this is going to be increasingly difficult to do.
Search the forum for PCI DSS and think about using an integrated PSP to handle the payments instead.

      Don't get caught!

Merchant banks don't seem to like the idea that you will be able to collect card data like this and look after it properly. I spoke to a few merchant account providers who would not have it - had to use PSP, I use the Secure Hosting system now, which is fine.

Of course there are some charges involved, but if you get caught collecting card data and running them through a PDQ as though they are Mail Order/Telephone Orders they your merchant account provider will be peeved (they are missing out on fees of course as this is often cheaper). Just what I was told... you might lose the account.
