Cant seem to upload at all

    Hi

I have just done a revamp on my site and tried to to upload - its start checking the HTML and so on, runs for about 10 seconds and then the upload dialog disappears off the screen. I had an older version on so have upgraded to the latest release and it is exactly the same. Theres no error message coming up, it just doesnt work!! I've also tried compacting the database etc but nothing.

If anyone had any suggestions I'd be really grateful!

Also - just a quick note, it also crashes when doing a snapshot of the site.

have you tried changing the cgi script ID (in network settings) and uploading after that
sometimes this gives Actinic a kick up the whatsit and can work (no guarantee though)

I don't know about the snapshot failure, but whenever I've had this error, it has been an incorrect password in the Network Settings, or simlier.
