Have you looked at posting a job on http://www.actlance.co.uk/ ?
Just to make you aware, you will probably be advised to start from scratch as upgrading from v7 is a pig and not very straight forward"If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions"

It needs more shouting about as i'm sure if more people knew about it they would post jobs, big or small.
I did say to Gabe to ask the powers to see if they were willing to send a eshot to all their users about it, but Gabe's a very busy man!"If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions"

Your right-upgrading is a pig--we have over 8000 products now with loads of permutations ect, but greater vision got hold of our database which was v7 MU and turned it into v.9. We had to tweak the template design a little but all of the products transferred like a dream! No need to start from scratch...i think our site must be one of the must complicated around when it comes to products and components. We loved v.7 and only upgraded because of the sage link at the time.

Starting from scratch refers to just the design side and is the only way to proceed, even if you upgrade a v7 site and it looks ok, the code inherited working in the background is truly horrific and very inefficient.
Product data largely remains untouched and upgrades itself into V9 without any human intervention, the software does that part itself. It's just the design side where starting from the ground is undoubtedly the best course of action when moving from V7 or below. V8 to V9 is fine and usually upgrades within minutes.
