product group / custom marketing lists

hi community

does anyone know if it's possible to display a product group as a list somewhere within my design?

essentailly i've created a 'summer sale' product group (which i've linked to a discount as well). i'd like to be able to then display that group somewhere on my homepage, but can't find a way to access a specific product group?

is it not possible to create promotions based on custom marketing lists?

if anyone has any ideas i'd be grateful.

Create a new section, duplicate the relevant products into it and then link to that page possibly?

hmm, thats what i was thinking / trying. but being a section it didn't seem to make itself available when on the home page. admittedly i was hiding the section from the website (and thus it wasn't available in an entiresectionlist) but otherwise i'll have to write some conditions in the top nav to stop the given section showing there.

Well the condition is an easy one to write, but why would you want to hide a 'summer sale' from the site nav anyway, are you selling or hiding products?
