How to implement small change to client site?

    Hi all,

I built a site for a client, which is working now but I've noticed that there is a small layout problem on the site. I need to make a change and send it to the client. What is the best way of doing this? I'm not hosting the site for them, I created a site snapshot and FTPed it to the client who then imported it into their Actinic.

How can I send a change without having to get the client to create a site snapshot, FTP it to me, I make the change and create a site snapshot and then pass it back to them?

    Thanks,

    Alastair

Use LogMeIn or GoToMyPC and do it remotely.

Go to Design --> Deploy Partial Site Design

You can then select what layouts, selectors, conditions, variables etc to send to them

(That's if you have designer or Business Plus)

Snapshot and email it to you, if it's a big file use mailbigfile.com.

Paul, how stable is that method? I know some designer have had issues with Design snapshots before. Do you use that a lot?

I've only used it a few times for small alterations (tweaks) to layouts with no problems.
