Possible Bug; V9.0.4

I have just made an amendment to a single item (in this case, price)
I did a "Publish current page" and checked the page online only to see the product was missing - like it had been "hidden"

I checked the product, and in the section where the product is there is indeed a hidden product (product "B") as well as the current product (product "A") which is not hidden. (with me so far ?! )

However if I "unhide" product "B", and then hide it again - product "A" now becomes visible and uploads OK.

I have several products that are setup like this as they are used for colour variations etc. To stop this happening I have to "unhide" and then "re-hide" the hidden items for the main visible item to show up.

I am currently using version 9.0.4.0.0.0.JFJA

Would it be possible for you to register a support query through HERE. Someone in support will then be able to get hold of your database and investigate.

I still have this problem in 9.0.5

Whenever I do a "Publish Current Page" on my SPPs, it always results in a blank page, with no product details whatsoever.
Doesn't matter if I have the parent section or the product highlighted when I select the option, it always uploads a product-less page.

Fat lot of good, eh?

Will log a support ticket in the morning though.
(incidentally, I logged it in the 9.0.5 beta but I guess it never got found or fixed for the release. wonder if it's in V10?!)

I use that feature quite a lot, mainly cos it's a quick way to show a client a design change, but i've never seen it not work on a number of different sites. Has Jonty passed on his version of actinic maybe.

dunno but it consistently doesn't work for me on our Jesters site.

Could be something in my product layout or whatever that it doesn't like, I dunno, but it never works, not on my SPPs, anyway

I'm just testing it on V10 to see if the same applies. If it does, I'll log it as a bug which should, at least, get my snapshot seen and inspected for bugginess!

I think there's only your method of SPP that is really different to how i do things, perhaps it is linked to that. Longshot No.1

I might take a look at it this evening. Perhaps try changing layouts to a standard one and seeing if the same results.
Or maybe it objects to my CVs? There are loads of them so I hope not!

(actually, that gives me a thought which I may test later!)

Possibly, my money is on something to do with extended info pages though. I use a lof of blockifs and CVs so i think that avenue might be a dead end (or is that cul-de-sac).

we're not using extended info pages on our SPPs. Very rarely to show a larger image but usually not.

hmm..problem is, I tested it on V10 last night and it worked ok.
That's a problem because it means that, IMO, Actinic won't see it as being important enough to investigate in V9 because it doesn't happen in V10

If I can ever find 2 minutes when my v9 site isn't uploading (at 90 mins a pop!) I'll investigate further

yeh, I logged it during beta testing way back whenever that was (can't recall which version)
