    Discount Price Shown

    Hi,

When using discounts, is there a way of displaying the price with the discount already deducted on the product page ?

    Thanks.

It would not be a discount to the customer if the price shown was discounted (if you see what I mean)... Basically, because Actinic applies the discount within the cart functions, and dont forget that it could be a sliding scale of discounts or multiple discounts (being available within Actinic), that its not possible to auto apply the discount to the products - sorry... although, under Business with customer accounts, then they would see account customer discounts straight away, as that is a set discount so easily achieved in that role, but for standard discount functions, afraid not...

I have used this method to show what the price would be when the discount criteria is met. Hope this helps.

Could be used to show something like this:

      £1.00 or (£0.85 after 15% discount)

        Austin,

You could achieve what you want by using an RRP variable and then showing the saving with the actual price.

        RRP: £100
        Your price £85
        Saving 15%

There is some php code from Norman Rouxel on the furm soenwhere in V8/V9 layouts which does just this.

We use this all the time for special offers.
