    Black loading screen

    Can anyone help me please

On a product page, when selecting a "People who bought this item also bought:" link, before loading up the new page, for a split second i get a black page which must be quite distract from a UI point of view.

is there an option in actinic to turn this loading page white?

    Thank you

check your css for any background declarations being black ie #000000

yeah just checked, i quoted out all the black/dark colours, but it still happened.

it links to a cgi-bin page thingy for a split second (which is blank), then loads up the proper page

i thought it might be some default layout design wizard actinic thing,
      i'll keep looking

I took a screenshot and checked the colour in Photoshop - it's proper #000000 black, and not some dark approximate (I notice you use a dark grey #2b2b2b in your top menu)...

          Don't know if this helps...

I think Lee is right because on my site it flashes momentarily to the BG color in the palette.

It's the actinic cookie on your PC. If you follow a link to the cgi-bin from another site (such as this one) and don't include the referring page in the URL then actinic quite rightly decides that the referring page is on this site and puts the info into your cookie.

                  oh

the sites running fine now, and without the black page, so all's well

the strange cgi bin links only happen on my computer, so i'll delete my cookies

                  Thank you for everyones help
