Start Up and Home Page are different

Hi All

I am currently having a problem were my initial website start-up page is different to my home-page when I navigated away.

Any have any suggestions, tried the home link item on site options any other suggestion.

The page referenced as 'Home' from the navigation menu at the top of the pages (excluding the pahe you see when you just visit your domain on its own) is called home.html, whereas if a page within the root of your site is called index.html, and then a cascade of possibles moving down thru index.php and so is looked for, so as you have an index.html in the root, this is shown to visitors first.

If the page called home.html as listed from the links on the top of your pages is correct, then change it to index.html and ensure it is set as 'use as site home page' and that should then overwrite the one shown by default when just visiting the domain name without a pagename being given.
