Porn hotlinking !

Hi,

I have established that a porno site has hotlinked to one of our images regarding princess baby bedding. I have been advised to configure the site to stop them getting image displayed on their website...as its a porno site its wholly inappropriate to say the least!

This is what is in my server logs that first alerted me to this....

What 'exactly' do I need to do in order to block this link from getting the image ?

The **** part by the way is a word begining with F and ends in K, and being 4 letters

Stop hotlinking - this will do the trick.


*Obviously substitute the paths (ie. images/image.jpe) for the images folder, in Actinic's case, /acatalog/

I guess you could rename the image and image reference on your site (and delete the original image), so they would just get a broken link. They might do it again but then they probably wouldn't even notice.

PS I would remove or obfuscate the other site's name (and your own site address excluding the signature) in your original question before long, it doesn't really benefit any advice you will get, and it will appear on a Google search for your site name before long......
