There have been a few previous threads on similar problems.

What does your worldpay callback error log say? (there should be one) and have you tried turning on the callback failure alert message to see if this gives any clues to the problem?

I would assume Actinic and Worldpay support have been suggesting this already.

yes they have...callback says on most of them

Our systems have detected that your callback has failed.

This callback failure means we were unable to pass information
to your server about the following transaction:

      Transaction ID: 813720594
      Cart ID: SC27LQ10035294
      Installation ID: 125713

Error reported: Remote host HTTP Status problem: 404

This is what rbs worldpay say for that error:

Payment Response obtained HTTP '404' response

Your Payment Response server-side script does not exist at the URL specified. Please check that the Payment Response URL is correct and that the server-side script is present in the intended location.
I would check that the callback url, etc is correct and also look at your server error logs to see what the actual callback is that is creating the 404 page.

Beyond that I haven't much advice to offer. This is seems to be a rather specialised problem.

Who is your host and are you on a unix server?
