Page Preview – This page is deleted – has anyone found a solution to this error, I have recently updated to V9 and unable to amend the Content Page in Dreamweaver.

Is there a workaround? Can you open up the Content Page similarly to how I use to open up the file Brochure Primary in V7.

The rest of the pages open perfectly in Dreamweaver - is this due to fragments on he home page?

Not sure what you mean by content page, that makes no sense, but whatever page you are talking about (overall layout i suspect), work on it on the design tab, it's much easier. IIRC page deleted is when there are no fragments added, in which case just add some, if so then stay away from the design tab and DW, that is not where you add content, you will add it to every single page if you do that.

Dreamweaver design view

Thanks for your reply - I think I’m getting to the bottom of this but I’m struggling to view the "Content Page" in Dreamweaver design view.

The code is correct and the site uploads - its simply as if there is something preventing Dreamweaver displaying the "Content Page" in design - has anyone else experienced this issue?

You probably need to translate what you are classing as the content page.

That is not a real page, all that is, is the 'content' of the page you have selected in the content tree. It's a pseudo page.

Im able to select eg Page Type – Site Map and then edit and preview the design in Dreamweaver but there seems to be something preventing viewing and editing the Content Page when I choose to Edit Layout in Dreamweaver.

The code is perfect but Im better at editing the page in design view

Select something different in the content tree, you are looking at the page you have selected in the content tree. To be seeing the page type drop down, you are already in design view, so just stay where you are and design away. Use the design tree on the right hand side. "Restore split view layout" if you don't see it.

I think Im sorted - frames seemed to be blocking the view. Many thanks for your help with this
