The other thing to bear in mind is that the pricing for Postcode Anywhere has changed considerably since you first signed up including a longer validity time for keys.

From reading the post I don't think that you need to go back to PCA however if you do, I hope that you will consider keeping us as your reseller rather than switching to Actinic to get a very small discount, there are benefits to using Mole End as a reseller.

When you sign up you get more free lookups, this means that you can make sure that the service is set up and working as you want it to before you have to spend any money. We have a lot of experience with the product and we are the people that first brought the two products together so can offer excellent support. We also use it ourselves on our websites so understand the system from a users point of view as well as a providers.

General benefits of using Postcode Anywhere on your site include having better formed addresses and so potentially increasing the number of credit card transactions that are approved. Your paperwork looks more professional because you don't have addresses all in lowercase for example (even though they entered them like that, the customer will still think it's you that is sloppy not them)

I hate shopping on sites without it now, it's so much easier to enter a couple of fields have the address added automatically, I expect that a lot of people feel this way.

I think it also makes your website look more professional and adds to that 'big' company feel for a site.

Totally agree with Jan, Mole-end offer great support on this product and it was their tutorial that I used a few years ago on Actinic v7/v8 to get me started on PCA.

This is true, at the end of the day the user does not know if you process 3 orders a day or 100 but the cost is relative, you only pay for the look ups but you add value to your site IMHO, which was really my point earlier but someone was a bit touchy about it

i have used it for years now and it was through Jan that i originaly took it on. As i posted recently (http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=43459) make sure you tighten the security on it though and restrict your lookups to approved sites and max per ip
