When modifying "content Page" to add google webmaster code all ok when uploaded site, then changed to next site

Opened up site and moved to design which still showed content page of previous site
Pull down content page from drop down and then it updated

mine used to do that a fair bit. The preview pane often showed the previous site.
No idea if it's working right in 9.0.5, mind you. Haven't had half a chance to look at it lately!
