Summary of Shipped Orders

I've looked through the Reports available and can't find one that does what we need as the sales reports seem to be based on Order date rather than Ship date.

We just need a summary report of the total value (products, tax, shipping, total) of orders shipped on any given date.

The background to this is:
- all our orders are pre-auth only and authorisations are made only when orders are shipped
- we would like this summary so we can make a daily manual sales entry into our accounts package (TAS3) rather than spend out on Sage which won't give us any extra functionalality other than the Actinic Link.

Anyone have any ideas or know of an add-on / plug-in that will provide this?

You should investigate linking Excel to your Actinic database so you can create simple custom reports like this. In Excel, look under Data>>Get External Data>>New Database Query (might be slightly different in newer versions) and check Excel's help if necessary. If you link to the 'Orders' table in the Actinic database, you should be able to get what you're looking for.

We've yet to use Excel on the Database (apart from hierarchics etc) so that'll be an interesting afternoon

You can also add custom reports to Actinic but they have to be written in crystal reports version 8.5 - details are in either the help file or advanced guide on how to get the reports to appear in the report selection dialog.

You can also get this information from our One Stop Order Processing product, it gives you a customisable order list that can be filtered and ordered by almost any of the order fields. It auto totals columns and you can print the details out - you can cut and paste rows or items as well which is very useful when you are passing info from one system to another (I use it with my Sage Pay virtual terminal for example to make sure I get the address and charges correct).
