Can someone help please. I do not want to include the home page images from within site options and the general panel. I have removed the references but it is showing on the home page. How can I remove them from the home page layout? Do I need to edit something somewhere as well as deleting the references from within the site options area.

Maybe a link to show us what you are on about is a good idea, it could well be images added into fragments, but who knows without seeing it. -
Sorry, its not live as I am working on it for a client and cannot upload. Basically if you go to the site options section from the menu, and then click on the general tab, you can see a list of links which are for the home page, they have a reference to an image and the url and I have removed all these. It is not within a fragment as I have one and use that already. Would it be located elsewhere? under the layout?Comment

I sorted it, it was the brochure page setting layout within the design tree area, managed to locate the block and remove it and it worked a treat.Comment
