    Implementation of a v8 site

    Hi Folks,

As I understand it we have a v8 site and at the moment the site 'updates/html/stock' is controlled by 1 person on one PC while the orders are downloaded by 2 other people on different PC's.

We are looking to move the delegation of roles around and want to install the updates/html/stock on to the pc's of the 2 people who currently download and process the orders.

I am not too familiar with how Actinic handles this multiple PC thing and was hoping for a few pointers:

Firstly - what is the best way of integrating the 'updates/html/stock' info into the 2 pc's that are currently configured for only downloading orders? ensuring no loss of data from either end.

If we install the 'updates/html/stock' end of things on both the PC's; if one person updates something can it not be over-written by the other - how does Actinic keep track of the changes remotely OR can this not be done and it is best to install this part on only one of the pc's.

Hope someone can help me out here as I am a bit lost.

    Thanks All.

Do you have the multiuser version of Actinic v8?

Yes I believe so as we already run it across the 3 pc's
