Split name field into first name and surname

On the checkout pages, is it possible to split the invoice name textbox into two textboxes - first name and surname?

tick the box marked "First Name / Last Name"

We currently use two computers. The first computer is used to manage the catalog and make changes to the site. I have changed the setting on this. The second computer is used just to download and process orders. Do I need to change the setting on this computer as well?

I don't know but someone else might. I'd just try it and see what happens.

If you're worried about what might happen then you could always ask actinic. I wouldn't imagine you'll do any harm either way but you might want to keep copies of the email confirmations as a back up just in case.

it would depend if you use the same database - ie linked over network
if so then you shouldnt need to amend it on the order processing machine
but if they are not linked you probably would need to do a snapshot and import into 2nd machine - thats my understanding of actinics system

You should make the settings the same on both machines to be safe.
