    A "Hidden" Actinic Shop

    Hi everybody!

A client has come to us regarding a shop they have. They want to change their shop from open to everybody to a "corporate" shop, whereby users would have to log in to access the products & deals (depending on the company they work for).

What would be the best way to do this? Would you either create the shop, allow anybody to browse the website but only purchase if they log in? Or would you hide the entire shop behind a simple PHP login, which one login per company can be created, and have people login through that, keeping the shop open?

Bear in mind these people who log in would work for a company, therefore wouldn't particularly want to have them all shipped to the same place. We also don't want them remembering addresses using customer accounts.

Anyway, that's the problem, any help would be gratefully appreciated

I believe Actinic Business does this.

The problem with hiding behind a simple login page, is that every page and every script is visible on the web, which means you have to maintain the login over every script. Actinic Business handles this for all the scripts.

Use Actinic Business and block all spiders from the site IMO.
