Well I'm at a loss. I've tried all the above advise regarding the email issues, then purged and refreshed the site, ordered and reordered and still no emails.
you haven't old us what addy you have in business settings and the smtp server.

its fine to say they are ok, but without telling us we dont know.

the ssl issue is probably www/non www - who installed it? they will need to make it better

if you do upload with a different script id, change it to 2 and refresh via troubleshooting menu, then change it back to 1 - that will save you the bother of all your script id changes

        Hi Jo,

To late, have done all the script changes and now it's all script id 2. Everything is working again.... but it hasn't changed or fixed anything.

In business settings the email is - admin@3dkitchens.net
        Website address is - www.3dkitchens.net

Attached is a snap of the Advance Network Settings

When I run a test in network settings, everything passes and a receive an email if that's any help!

Usually this kind of problem (get an email in test but no email in operation) is a sign that authentication is needed. This is because the email server will happily send an email to an 'on domain' email address but won't allow any to be sent externally without authentication.

The odd thing here is that the error message for authentication is completely different to the one we're seeing appear in the log.

The best approach I can think of from here is:

          1. Check with your hosts whether authentication is needed when using 'localhost' for the smtp server.

          2. Contact actinic support and ask them what that error message is suppposed to indicate.

          Mike

Hmm. Something odd here. Your error log is still only showing one email error, the one from my test order yesterday. If you've been doing your own testing then there should be more errors. So, some extra suggestions:

          3. Look in your spam folder to make sure the emails aren't going in there.

          4. When testing, make sure you use an 'off domain' email address, just like a customer would.

Did you try the Test button in network setup? If so, did it return any SMTP error, and did you receive the test email?

Still no e-mails! Attached is a snap of the test result.

Running out of options, may contact support on this one.

                  In Conclusion...

Thanks for all your help on this issue, in the end Actinic Support sorted it out. For some reason there was a variable missing from the database that caused the problem. They found it and fixed it, so hip hip horray to the team.

                    Auto email sending problem?

Did you get this sorted Steve?

I am having the same problem and I've tried stpes up to the script change suggestion which the story so far says you were about to launch into. Did it work?

For some reason your post from yesterday just appeared when I posted my reply, so the answer is go the Actinic support?
