    Help Please!
This is the error message received at the checkout page.
I have looked at the threads generated by "credit card plug-in script" and done a site refresh as one other member did but the problem persists.

Why do these things occur so late in the day?
    Thanks for any help

I'm not sure of the answer, but i've certainly read the problem a good few times. If you search the forum on the error message or the key parts of the error message, solutions should be presented. Me personally, i'd do a website purge and refresh from the troubleshooting menu. If that didn't work, i'd do a script change and then a website refresh.

It's been suggested in previous threads that you copy the original payment script relating to your PSP from the Originals folder back into your Site folder. That, and purge and refresh as Lee suggests.

Thanks for the advice, I'll follow that. Yes the PSP is Sage Pay. Are there any issues I should be aware of when purging? Sounds drastic!

Thanks again for the advice. That is the solution - 3 easy steps:

copy from the originals file Act_OCC(your PSP)Template and paste over the version on my site file.
Purge (not as distateful as it sounds)
            Then refresh.

Once again the community saves the day.

              Hi

Here's the Actinic support response for future reference:

              > Error executing the on-line credit card
              > plug-in script. Global symbol "$sMerchantID"
Please close all Actinic software and run the installation CD or download files and when you receive the 'Install Actinic' window remove the tick from the 'Standard Install' tick box and click the 'Custom Install' button.
In the screen that opens remove the tick from the boxes 'Install Actinic' and 'Install Actinic Shared SSL Providers' ensuring that the only choice selected is 'Install Payment Service Providers' then click 'OK' and complete the installation.
Open the software and allow the upgrade screen to complete, then go to 'Web | Refresh Website' to rebuild the online files

              Best wishes
