Importing customers via CSV file

Is there a way to import customer accounts into actinic?

We have a big CSV file of customer details to import so manually entering them is not an option.

I have looked at the documentation for importing, on the "Valid Fields For Importing" page I can't find anything for customers.

It's there on mine i saw it last week, maybe V8 doesn't show what to do as V9 does, i suspect it's you not looking properly though to be honest. Hierarchicals are involved in the process IIRC.

You must have Business (not Catalog) to be able to import customer details. It is in the help and can be done with a hierarchical import.

Try exporting the customer data first and then you will see the format required.
