    prompt.fil error message

    Hi,

I've been experiencing similar problems to "WebD", the originator of this post in version 8 help: http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=36592.

I am getting the following error message on my site:

Error: Error opening configuration file ../acatalog/prompt.fil. No such file or directory

The website can be viewed here: http://www.authenticindianspice.com/ - you will immediately notice that the home page (index.html) is not uploading, but you can access the About Us page by going here: http://www.authenticindianspice.com/aboutus.html

I have gone through all the recommendations on the old thread, namely:
    • Website Purge and Refresh
    • Deleting entries in the 'FileList' table from ActinicCatalog.mdb
    • Compact Database
    • Changing the 'CGI script ID'
    • And finally tried removing everything (via FTP) and doing a Website Refresh

There are no errors or warnings when I test the Network Setup. I don't have any 'old*.fil' files in the 'acatalog'.

And still getting the same error message.
    Can anyone help?

OK - did this but still no luck. I sent a Snapshot to Actinic support and they seem to think it's something to do with the hosts as all the files are uploading to the _root directory. 'prompt.fil' is there, but not in the acatalog directory (indeed nothing has uploaded to that directory).

The hosts are: dlznet.co.uk - anyone had any experience with them?
