Design Tree order of items

Firstly, thank you for helping me with my questions so far. With your help I'm becoming more familiar with how actinic works.

In the design tree, how do you change the order of item?

eg.

In the header area there is a nav bar in the last position, I'd like to put it in the top position. I can do this by adding a new one at the top then deleting the other one, but if I then want to put it back in the last position - how?

Drag and drop with the mouse. If you hold down shift whilst you click, drag and drop it, you can drop a section at the same level as another without it being made a sub-section inside that section.

There must be a knack to this as I'm dragging with left mouse down, but it's not selecting/picking up the item.

That doesn't work for me. I've tried dragging and dropping, and left shifting etc but they won't move.

I can move things in the content tree, but not the design tree.

Is this a restriction in the trial version or am I missing something obvious?

I don't think you should even venture onto the design tree to be honest at this stage. Stick to that content tree on the content tab, that's the only place you want to be reordering things and more importantly the only place you need to anyway.
